The Animal Adoption Foundation will be open on

Monday, May 30th (Memorial Day) for the following:

Walk-A-Hound 12pm-1pm

Volunteering 12pm-3pm

We will not be open for adoptions or for pet intake.

We hope everyone enjoys the Holiday weekend!

Meet Brady, a dog who was brought to the AAF as a victim of a hit and run. His injuries were substantial and included multiple pelvic fractures and a fractured ankle, both injuries requiring surgery. Brady has received the treatment he needed, and still has six long weeks of recovery ahead of him. Treating Brady's injuries has resulted in over $7,000 in medical expenses, so the AAF is asking for the help of our supporters, so that we may continue to save the lives of abandoned and abused animals like Brady.  Please click here to read more of Brady's story and for the opportunity to donate to his medical expenses.

Please take a few minutes to enroll in the 2015-2016 Kroger Community Rewards Program.

1. Visit www.krogercommunityrewards.com.
2. Register to create an account and sign in using your email address and password.
3. Enter AAF's NPO # 80282, or the first three letters of the organization's name (or type animal adoption foundation), then click search.
4. Select the Animal Adoption Foundation by clicking on the circle to the left of AAF's name and save changes.

If haven't already designated the AAF as your favorite charity for your Kroger Plus card, please consider doing so. Kroger will donate 4% of what you spend to the homeless pets at the Animal Adoption Foundation! Thank you for your ongoing support!

Would you like to see your donation to AAF doubled or even tripled?  Ask your employer if they participate in a corporate matching gift program. Matching gift programs are charitable giving programs set up by corporations in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations.  If your employer does offer such a program, ask your Human Resources department if AAF is on their list of eligible agencies.  If not, let us know and we will be happy to contact them and provide them with all of the information they may require. Give your donation to AAF an extra boost by contacting your employer today!

The Animal Adoption Foundation is recruiting foster homes for pets in need!  Can you help?  This is a rewarding program that will fill your heart with joy just by knowing that you have helped a homeless pet not only know you care but by saving a life.  If you are interested and want to help, please click on the "Foster A Pet" link above and complete the foster application.

Animal Adoption Foundation

We would like to thank local and New York Times Bestselling author Lori Foster and her colleagues for their generosity.  The AAF continues to receive proceeds from the 2012 Bestseller "Love Bites" to the tune of $13,000 in the last few months.  We encourage everyone to check out Lori's website at www.lorifoster.com where you can find "Love Bites" and other books.

AAF Wish List

The Animal Adoption Foundation now has a wish list on Amazon.com for those that prefer to shop on-line.  Click on the icon on the left to add items from the AAF Wish List to your shopping cart and place the order (most orders over $25 have no shipping fee) and your items will ship directly to the shelter.  No donation is too great or small.

THANK YOU in advance for your continued donations and support!

Micro-Chipping only $20

The AAF offers low-cost micro-chipping for the public. A Micro-Chip is the size of a grain of rice, and is inserted into a pet right above the shoulder blades. Micro-Chips constitute the most reliable system for the recovery of lost or stray companion animals. If your pet is lost and ends up at a reputable vet or animal shelter, he/she will be scanned for a Micro-Chip. Thereafter, you will be quickly reunited! Of course, it is most important to have current tags on your pet. But if these ever accidentally come off, or your pet is stolen, an internal microchip will save the day! For more info on Micro-Chipping, visit 24PetWatch. The chipping process only takes a couple of minutes. Micro-chipping is available to the public during adoption hours: Tuesday through Friday from 4-7pm & Saturday and Sunday from 1-4pm.  Micro-chipping can also be done by making an appointment if those hours do not work with your schedule.  Simply call 513-737-PETS or email aafpets@yahoo.com.
