AAF Opens Its Long-Anticipated Spay/Neuter Clinic
Thanks to a $55,000 grant from the Joanie Bernard Foundation, the AAF was able to realize its dream of performing onsite spay/neuter surgeries. Construction began on the clinic in the summer of 2012 and was finished at the end of November. A special thanks to David and Leslie Markesbery, as well as, Gary Higgs for all of their hard work in getting the clinic up and running. The grant allows the AAF to focus on S/N for cats, both from the shelter and for the local community.
We are now offering low-cost surgeries to the public and for those who are caring for stray or feral cat colonies. We are excited about the prospect of helping those who need it, as well as, doing our part to control the local cat population.
Surgeries are being performed by local veterinarians who are donating their time. We really appreciate the hard work of these dedicated and generous veterinarians!
Please call 513-737-7387 for more information or to make an appointment.
